Gerardo once served as an assistant for HIU Men’s soccer program and Fullerton College Women’s soccer program; during his time at Fullerton College he helped the program reach the CCCAA playoffs for two straight years after an absence of 12 years. Hidalgo also served as an assistant coach for Minot State University and also served as a Director of Coaches for Minot Magic (Youth Club in Minot).
